De La Salle North Catholic High School

MIKE is proud to continue our work with De La Salle North Catholic High School (DLSNC), located in Northeast Portland. Noted as one of Oregon’s most diverse private high schools, DLSNC provides college-preparation with corporate work-study opportunities to students. We have partnered with the school for more than a decade, connecting volunteer mentors with 9th graders in their health classes.

By embedding our programming in the health classes, MIKE is able to engage and inspire students toward healthier lifestyles. MIKE’s innovative lessons and activities feature mentored health education in topics ranging from the nutrition and physical fitness, mental health, chronic disease prevention and health advocacy.
