MIKE Summer Camp with RAHS

MIKE traveled around Portland to host sessions for Rosemary Anderson High School and their RAHS CHI program in July and August. MIKE brought its vital signs clinic to students at RAHS North Campus in July, then embedded nutrition and basketball sessions for RAHS youth at Jefferson High School and at Argay Park. Students learned the impacts of nutrition and basketball, physical fitness and mental health. And, they were able to conduct taste tests on a variety of protein bars and milk beverages to help them analyze nutrients and taste.

Even the teachers at RAHS took part in the fun clinic, helping to reinforce healthy behaviors for their students.
