MIKE Advisory Board Welcomes New Members

April 2021 — Casey Stowell, Regional Vice President in the Pacific Northwest for Fresenius Medical Care of North America, joined MIKE’s Advisory Board. Casey helped illuminate the world of dialysis for MIKE youth as a guest speaker for MIKE’s programming at Merlo Station Community School in Beaverton. Casey introduced students at the school to the many career options available to them through Fresenius.

At Fresenius, Casey oversees 56 clinics throughout Oregon and Washington. She first started as a secretary at Fresenius when she moved to Salem, Oregon, and progressed through the company to her current role. Casey has a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Idaho.

March 2021 — Julie Tank, MD, a nephrologist at Northwest Renal Clinic in Oregon, joined MIKE’s Advisory Board earlier this year. She is a graduate of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon; and Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Dr. Tank is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.  Dr. Tank serves as medical director to Fresenius Kidney Care Home Dialysis and on the Medical Advisory Board of Fresenius Kidney Care. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, American College of Physicians, Oregon Medical Association, Renal Physicians Association, Women in Nephrology and Physicians for Social Responsibility.
