Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation

MIKE is only able to achieve our mission through the generous support of our community. The majority of that support comes from individual donors, corporate support, and foundation grants. This reliance can be a daunting proposition, but knowing we have such amazing partners gives us the ability to move forward with confidence and increase our programming impact each year. 

For the second consecutive year, MIKE was awarded a grant from the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation (MLCF) to support MIKE’s Mentored Health Education programming in local schools. I want to highlight their support and also give appreciation for the way they partner with the nonprofits they support, like MIKE. MLCF is not one to make their grantees jump through hoops. They see the many pressing needs in our communities, and if the project and mission align with their focus areas they do their best to provide resources which allow organizations to get to work bettering Oregon and its people. This collaborative approach is refreshing. We feel supported by MLCF and their staff. I would like to thank this foundation, and the many other organizations who make our work possible. Together, we are creating a healthier generation of Oregonians.
