MIKE’S Partnerships Support Mission & Youth

MIKE Program is proud of our extensive network of community partnerships, which serve as the bedrock of our initiatives. Among these collaborations, our engagement with schools for programming stands out. These partnerships with schools reflect MIKE’s commitment to empowering local vulnerable youth. Additionally, we collaborate closely with numerous community organizations, drawing on their expertise to tailor our programs effectively.

None of our endeavors would be possible without the support of our funding partners, including local businesses and foundations.

One current standout partnership we are particularly excited about is with the Oregonian Media Group, an iconic institution deeply rooted in Oregon's history. As the oldest continuously published newspaper on the West Coast of the United States, The Oregonian brings a wealth of experience and reach to our shared endeavors.

Our collaboration with The Oregonian encompasses various facets, with one highlight being their sponsorship of MIKE’s upcoming 2024 Spring Planting Annual Event. This partnership extends beyond financial support; The Oregonian is also currently showcasing our mission and annual event through a dedicated article on OregonLive.com. This article delves into MIKE’s Mentored Health Education programming and provides insights into our upcoming annual event. That event is coming up on March 14th, 2024 at the World Forestry Center.

You can learn more about the event, purchase event tickets, and grab your raffle tickets on our event page here.
