Goal/Purpose:
To conduct Internet research to support grant applications. This person would work closely with the Grant Development Team and staff to meet the needs of the time-sensitive grant submissions.
Responsibilities:
Conducts Internet research on youth development topics, demographics, health and education
Prepares graphs and tables in Excel, Word, and other software as appropriate
Prepares reports of research findings
Documents, organizes and updates the data/findings in a database
Works closely with the Grant Development Team and staff to meet the needs of grant submissions
Time Committment:
2-10 hours/month as needed
Work Location:
The MIKE Program office and/or your home

Demonstrates Internet skills
Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills
Is accountable for actions

Needs little supervision in accomplishing projects
Can make a personal commitment of time
Is willing to participate in the Community Relations Committee
Is able and willing to take and pass criminal background checks and drug testing
Has formal education in research and design
